These often contain brutally honest critiques and unmet expectations in the customer\u2019s own words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Use these to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Swipe voice of customer (VOC) language<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify messaging gaps or misaligned expectations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create content that tackles real objections or concerns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. What Influences Their Thoughts? \u2192 Social Listening<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To get a sense of what your audience is thinking, what they\u2019re skimming, and the people and ideas they\u2019re paying attention to, look at the feeds. Go where your audience is hanging out (LinkedIn? Threads? Both? What Are They Doing on Your Site? \u2192 Google Analytics + Hotjar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your audience is already engaging with your brand, your website behavior tells you exactly where they\u2019re confused, intrigued, or bouncing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Start with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What are your top landing pages?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where do people drop off?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What keywords do they search for to get to your site?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Then layer in Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Where do they click (or rage click)?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are they scrolling all the way to your CTA?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What sections are getting ignored entirely?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This kind of behavioral data doesn\u2019t just tell you what people <em>say<\/em> they want. What Problems Are They Actively Solving? \u2192 Search and Job Boards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to know what your audience is prioritizing <em>right now<\/em>, pay attention to what they\u2019re searching for \u2014 and what they\u2019re hiring for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use <strong>Google\u2019s autocomplete<\/strong> and <strong>People Also Ask<\/strong> boxes to explore common phrasing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look at <strong>Google Trends<\/strong> to spot seasonality or emerging interest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Browse <strong>job boards<\/strong> like Indeed, Wellfound, or niche boards related to your audience&#8217;s industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Job postings especially are a goldmine: they show where companies are investing resources, what pain points they\u2019re addressing, and even what software or skills they expect people to know.
