Below is what\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seomoz.org\/team\/drivesthegetawaycar\">Renea<\/a>\u00a0(from Joanna&#8217;s team) put together and sent out.<\/p>\n<div>Note on how\u00a0Net\u00a0Promoter\u00a0score is calculated: those responding with results 9 or 10 are considered promoters. Responses 0 through 6 are considered detractors.\u00a0Net\u00a0promoter\u00a0score is reached by subtracting detractors from promoters (7 and 8 are considered passive and thrown out).<!--more--><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><strong>SEOmoz PRO<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>434 Responses<\/li>\n<li>Promoters: 59.22%<\/li>\n<li>Detractors: 10.14%<\/li>\n<li>Net\u00a0Promoter\u00a0Score: 49.08<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>SEOmoz Community\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>411 Responses<\/li>\n<li>Promoters: 59.61%<\/li>\n<li>Detractors: 9.25%<\/li>\n<li>Net\u00a0Promoter\u00a0Score: 50.36%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>SEOmoz (website; non-PRO)<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>502 Responses<\/li>\n<li>Promoters 58.37%<\/li>\n<li>Detractors: 13.15%<\/li>\n<li>Score: 45.22%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We all found it interesting that the community led the pack, but only slightly, and that the responses were so closely grouped. Around 60% of our users love the product\/community\/site and want to share it and ~10% aren&#8217;t sold on us. If I had to guess what the numbers would have been, I probably would have gone lower, but I think that&#8217;s because the negative critiques always stand out in our minds far more than the positives.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.netpromoter.com\/resources\/article27.jsp\">public market comps available here<\/a> including Google (56%), Apple (71%), Facebook (31%), Amazon (78%). But all the wisdom out there says scores themselves are far less important than the trendline over time. That&#8217;s also what I heard from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.feld.com\/wp\/\">this guy<\/a> when I forwarded it on to our board:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/images.sparktoro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/netpromoter-brad-feedback.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24\" title=\"netpromoter-brad-feedback\" src=\"https:\/\/images.sparktoro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/netpromoter-brad-feedback.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"410\" height=\"99\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Thus, we&#8217;ll be running this same survey again in a few months, then after some big product releases and on a continuing basis thereafter.
