Seasonal Seattle sunlight really messes with how I show up, and artificial light can only do so much given the office shed&#8217;s position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s the step-by-step breakdown of how I use OBS:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.sparktoro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-10-1024x646.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7650\" width=\"768\" height=\"485\" srcset=\"https:\/\/images.sparktoro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-10-1024x646.png 1024w, https:\/\/images.sparktoro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-10-300x189.png 300w, https:\/\/images.sparktoro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-10-768x485.png 768w, https:\/\/images.sparktoro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-10-1536x969.png 1536w, https:\/\/images.sparktoro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image-10.png 1648w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>What&#8217;s in the Studio?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the bottom-right of the screen are my &#8220;Scenes&#8221; aka the different ways I&#8217;ve set up OBS&#8217; inputs to provide video and audio output.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The &#8220;Split Screen&#8221; option I created (you can give your scenes whatever name you want) has a &#8220;Window Capture&#8221; which I set to my Chrome browser (you can also use an entire &#8220;display capture&#8221; if you want to show your whole screen)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The &#8220;Camera&#8221; uses my <a href=\"https:\/\/electronics.sony.com\/imaging\/interchangeable-lens-cameras\/aps-c\/p\/ilce6100-b\">Sony A6100<\/a> as the input; it connects via an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elgato.com\/en\/cam-link-4k\">Elgato Cam Link<\/a> to my USB port <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then I&#8217;ve got my microphone (an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.audio-technica.com\/en-us\/at2020\">AT2020<\/a>) as the audio input<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using the mouse, I can drag, zoom, and reposition the the two inputs to fill any combination of the viewing space. My guess is this exposes a lot of people to the idea of what SparkToro does, but rarely converts someone directly from viewer to buyer.
