Microsoft to acquire Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion

Microsoft is buying Activision Blizzard at a price of nearly $70 billion. The publisher of games like World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Overwatch, and Candy Crush will now fall under the control of Xbox boss Phil Spencer, in a deal that has metaverse and Xbox Game Pass implications.
