Let me lay out the biggest challenges folks tell us they have with SparkToro in 2025:
- The audience data y’all provide is interesting, but I don’t know what to do next
- Making the connection between our audience’s behaviors and our marketing actions requires a lot of extra work (export SparkToro report, analyze, make assessments, upload to other systems, etc.)
- My exec/team/boss wants me to “use AI to make our marketing more efficient/effective,” (this is often accompanied by a π); SparkToro doesn’t fit that demand
And now, I’m going to show you how my cofounder Casey Henry, our VP Marketing, Amanda Natividad, and my Chief of Staff, Kristy Morrison, solved that problem:
- Create a list of the most common marketing tasks audience research data can help inform
- Build a series of smart, LLM prompts to address those
- Add the most relevant and useful bits of audience data from SparkToro to each prompt’s input
- Build a short questionnaire to make sure anyone using the prompt gets the best, most relevant output
- Bake it into every SparkToro report so these tasks can be done repeatably
- Beta test with a few dozen marketing agencies, teams, and in-house experts until they’re loving and using the feature regularly
And, finally, today, launch it. To everyone. With a free version anyone can try out.
Here’s how to take a test drive:
#1: Run any SparkToro audience research report (preferably on an audience you care about reaching π)
#2: Click on the “Take Action” tab (it’s on the right here π)

#3: Choose any of the 16 marketing tasks we’ve built into the system (so many great options π€©)

#4: Fill out the associated form (some are as simple as 2-3 questions, others need more input to give the best responses):

#5: Get killer results (that we and our beta testers have found to be consistently superior to what LLMs alone can provide π):

#6: BOOM. Common marketing tasks + real audience data + the efficiency of AI = complete. And the output is automatically saved in your SparkToro account π§ π‘
You can now share the results with anyone (just like sharing ChatGPT’s output):

Or re-run the prompt with different selections to get more ideas (we even save old versions for you):

You’ll find all your previous “Take Action” outputs on your dashboard and in your Actions Taken page:

Finally, let me share what our beta testers have said about Take Action:
- “I can say it is now Michelin Star ready. The output is legit. Thank you!”
– Chris Latham, Expert Content Partner & SEO Strategist, Burger Gelato - “Take Action is the logical bridge for moving from research into direct action. There’s a few other tools I’ve tested that only did this part, so adding it into a tool I already use for the research piece means I can do more in one central tool.”
– Robert Carnes, GreenMellen, Marketing Director - “Itβs like having a chatGPT model trained on your actual customer β without the bias it would have if you trained it yourself.”
– Sara Lobkovich, Strategy Facilitator, Red Currant Collective LLC - “I’ve been testing this and I really think you have something incredibly useful here. You have addressed the “what do I do now with this SparkToro data” question I think many people have when using SparkToro. You will save my team and I a lot of time and give us solid guidance. Thank you for this!”
– Lavall Chichester, Founder/CEO, Growth Skills - “This is a powerfully simple way to take action on your content.”
– Ted Fay, 2 Find Marketing, LLC, principal - “It simplified the ideation and enhanced my understanding of the client. Keyword research of a client deepens my understanding of their industry. Plugging those keywords into SparkToro, then using Take Action to see the ideas is an almost a cathartic way to validate my topical alignments.”
– Josh Joseph, Finch, Lead SEO Strategist - “Take Action gave me really targeted, creative ideas that were outside my areas of expertise. It takes real audience data and transforms it into marketing thought-starters you can quickly pick up and use.”
– Libby Micheletti, Product Marketing Leader
We’re truly grateful to the dozens of beta testers who helped make Take Action better. Their suggestions (especially around UX features like saving output, making it sharable, and preserving past versions of output) were huge contributors to this launch.
Give Take Action a spin. Tell us what you think (support@sparktoro.com goes to all three of us). And don’t hesitate to share other prompts/actions you’d like to see us launch in the future. We hope to add many more soon π€π€
