Last week, we launched the latest version of SparkToro, replete with a plethora of new features and upgrades. And over the past 10 days, we’ve been answering a flurry of questions about the product, including one that’s come up so often, it deserves its own blog post.
That question: “What are the Search & AI Tools and Social Networks graphs telling me?”
Two things:
- Which platform(s) are used by this audience in what order, based on the visits they receive from the audience you searched for
- How much more/less than average the audience uses these platforms vs. the average web user in their country.

Above: people with SEO in their profile (usually their job title, role, or description, as these profiles come from LinkedIn) use Claude 154.9% more than the average American web user. But, Clause is only the 11th most-used search and AI tool overall. Google is still #1.

Above: people with landscaping in their profile use ChatGPT 34% more than the average American web users, but it’s still not nearly as popular with them as Yahoo!, Bing, Reddit, Wikipedia, Amazon, or Pinterest.
