What does “Percent of Audience” mean?

The “percent of audience” column refers to the number of profiles from SparkToro’s database that both match your search criteria AND follow or engage with the associated account, website, podcast, or YouTube channel.

E.g. if you search for “my audience uses the word(s) in their profile: general contractor” SparkToro shows (as of April 19, 2020) that 17% of the 1,482 profiles in our database matching that criteria follow USGBC. This means that ~252 of those 1,482 profiles that have the words “general contractor” in their profile/bio follow one or more of USGBC’s social media profiles on one or more of the 10 networks we cover (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, etc).
