Buy a bundle of credits, spend them as you go. They last 12 months. No monthly bill, no auto-renewal, no surprises.
Credits don't expire until 12 months from your last purchase, so topping up always extends the whole balance.
For larger bundles, custom rate limits, dedicated support, or invoicing, email us. We'll get you set up.
Tick the endpoints you'd actually call per audience, slide to how many reports you'll run. We'll add up the credits in real time.
Every call is metered in credits.
report_id.No. API credit bundles are a standalone purchase, not an add-on to a SparkToro app plan.
Yes, 12 months from your most recent purchase. Buy a second bundle at any point and the expiration on your whole balance resets to 12 months from that day. Stop buying and your remaining credits sit there until the 12-month clock runs out.
Yes. Buying additional bundles adds the new credits to your existing balance and resets the 12-month expiration on the pool. There's no limit on how many bundles you can stack.
The call returns HTTP 402 Payment Required with a JSON body telling you how many credits the call needed and how many you have. Nothing gets billed; nothing gets returned half-formed. Buy more credits and the next call works.
A typical report (audience creation + a representative slice of section endpoints) costs about 29 credits. Worst case (you pull every section) tops out near 40 credits. Most real-world usage lands well below the worst case.
Yes. Once you've been successfully charged for a section on a given report_id, every subsequent call to that same endpoint with that same report_id is free for the life of the report. Safe to retry on network errors, and you can re-pull the same report in a week, a month, or whenever. We only charge the first successful read.
No. MCP usage counts against your SparkToro app plan's monthly report quota, not against your API credits. They're two separate billing surfaces. MCP is bundled into your paid SparkToro plan, the API is metered through credit bundles.
Credits are non-refundable once granted. We can comp credits manually if something on our side breaks; reach out and we'll sort it.
The most important cap is the bundle itself. We never auto-recharge your card. On top of that, each account has a per-minute rate limit (60 req/min by default, ask if you need more) so a runaway loop can't blow through your balance in seconds.
