Microsoft buys AI speech tech company Nuance for $19.7 billion

Microsoft has announced it’s buying AI speech tech firm Nuance. The acquisition will bolster the Redmond, Washington-based software giant’s prowess in voice transcription, complementing its suite of enterprise and cloud software services.
