Sheryl Sandberg will step down from her role as COO of Meta this fall

Meta chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg is stepping down. Sandberg has been COO of Meta, previously called Facebook, for 14 years. Mark Zuckerberg called the change the "end of an era" and said there were no plans to replace her.
