A few tips for getting sharper, more useful results:
- Start broad, then narrow. Run a wide report first to see the landscape, then try a more specific query to zero in. Very narrow queries can return thin results.
- Research by behavior, not just topic. "People who follow [account]" or "people who visit [website]" often produces a more concrete audience than a single keyword.
- Try the different research types. You can build a report from an audience description in your own words, by audience interest, by social account, by website, and more. Each lens can surface different sources.
- Compare a few variations. Small wording changes can meaningfully shift results. Run two or three reports and compare.
